New Report Highlights Internet Inequality in Rural Communities (from @Truthdig)

This inequity can only be addressed at the Federal level. It is maddening that net neutrality has not been a topic of national debate during this election because it is a social justice issue as surely as access to clean water and electricity is. And this Washington Post story puts a human face on the story describing problems with connectivity in Alabama that could just as easily be in rural New England. 

The results of a Harvard University study of stalled Internet upgrades in Western Massachusetts reveal the nation’s need for open, impartial Internet access for all. – 2016/04/22
