NYTimes Nominees for NYS Chancellor All Pro-Charter, Pro-Privatization, Anti-Public Education… Are You Surprised?

On Sunday, the NYTimes editorial board offered its suggestions to replace outgoing Chancellor Carmen Farina, and there’s not a progressive pro-public education nominee among the group. There are, however, several Broad alums, several charter leaders, and several public school leaders with checkered pasts when it comes to honestly reporting the performance of schools. The only good news, Eva Moskovitz did not make the list.
