Unfortunately the amoral and unethical operators of the majority of charter schools in Arizona saw an opportunity to line their pockets and seized it. Meanwhile, “government schools” got nothing except the headache of trying to provide remote learning with no internet access for many of their schools or children and no opportunity to access the billions of dollars available to charters.
