NYPost, Advocate for Admission to Competitive High School Based on Test Scores, Admonishes deBlasio for Advocating a “Standardized Curriculum”

In an article that fails to see the irony in its message, the NYPost decries outgoing Mayor de Blasio for promoting a standardized curriculum for all students. If the NYPost wants to join the movement to abandon standardized tests they would be welcomed… but how would they reconcile their advocacy for “merit based” admission to elite high schools based on (ahem) a standardized test?
